Curried Almond Ahi Tuna Salad over Green Pepper Slaw


  • 1 can Safe Catch Ahi Tuna
  • 1 Large Green Bell Pepper, sliced long and thin (about 1 to 1 ½ cup)
  • Juice from ½ a Lime
  • 2 Tbsp Mayo
  • 2 tsp Coconut Aminos
  • 2 tsp Dried Minced Onion
  • 1 ½ tsp Curry Powder
  • 1 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Lime Zest
  • 2 Tbsp Raisins
  • 2 Tbsp Chopped Almonds

Tools you'll need

  • Sharp Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Bowl
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Zester
  • Fork
  • Mixing Spoon


  • Cut your large bell pepper into halves and then use a sharp knife to thinly slice your pepper into long strands. Place them in a bowl and toss in juice from 1/2 a lime. Set aside.
  • Add one can of Safe Catch Ahi Tuna to a bowl. DO NOT DRAIN! Use a fork to break apart and mash your tuna up for your tuna salad.
  • Add in the remainder of your ingredients and combine evenly.
  • Arrange your pepper slices in a dish as you wish and top with your curried tuna salad! Enjoy!


The slight bitterness of raw green peppers pairs nicely with the sweetness of this tuna salad, but if you’re looking for an even sweeter taste you could always opt for red or a sweeter tasting bell pepper instead! This is a refreshing little lunch for the warmer days ahead!

For added flavor, top with more lime zest!
