Hummus and Tuna Celery Bugs

Ingredients

  • Celery Sticks
  • 1 Can of Safe Catch Elite Tuna
  • 1 Tbsp. Hummus
  • Salt to Taste
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Cucumber Slices
  • Pretzels
  • Microgreens or Celery Leaves

  • Mixing Dish
  • Fork
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring Spoons
  • Spoon

Instructions

  • Before you begin, gather as many celery stalks as you would like for your snack or meal. This recipe should make 3-4 “bugs.”
    • To begin the recipe, flake the Safe Catch Elite Tuna into a dish with a fork (DO NOT DRAIN), then add hummus and seasonings. Combine to make tuna salad.
    • Use a spoon to scoop the tuna into celery stalks.
    • Decorate with other ingredients to create your own “bugs”!

SERVING SUGGESTION

Consider using tiny crafting googly eyes for a playful touch. Remember to remove them before eating! Alternatively, opt for edible versions for added safety, like olives!
