Sweet Chili Sardine & Seaweed Rice Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 Tin of Safe Catch Sardines (in water)
  • 1/4 C. Softened or Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 6 Rice Cakes
  • 6 Seaweed Snack Slices or Nori Sheets Cut to Fit Rice Cakes
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • Optional: Kelp Flakes or Furikake for Garnishing

Instructions

  1. To begin, open your Safe Catch Sardines ( DO NOT DRAIN), and flake them with a fork into a mixing bowl. Break the fish apart with your fork in the bowl to combine everything.
  2. Next, add the softened cream cheese and sweet chili sauce to the bowl. Combine everything together evenly.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Lay out your favorite rice cakes and top each one with a seaweed snack. Use a tablespoon measuring spoon to scoop two heaping tablespoons onto each cake.
  5. Finish by topping with kelp flakes or any other desired garnishes and serve!
