Sweet + Spicy Salmon Toasts

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of your favorite sourdough bread, or bread of choice
  • Cream Cheese
  • 1 Can Safe Catch Salmon
  • Honey
  • Pickled Jalapeños
  • Salt to Taste
  • Optional: Bee Pollen

Tools you'll need

  • Knife
  • Fork
  • Small Dish
  • Toaster or Oven

Instructions

  • Begin by toasting your bread to your desired taste.
  • Spread on your cream cheese and lightly salt.
  • Open your can of Safe Catch salmon and flake it with a fork (DO NOT DRAIN!) to reintroduce all of the natural juices back into the fish.
  • Add your salmon to the top of your cream cheese toasts.
  • Top with your desired amount of pickled jalapeños to each toast and drizzle honey on top as well.
  • Add some bee pollen if you wish and enjoy!

SERVING SUGGESTION

This dish can be created for a hearty snack on its’s own, for lunch or even breakfast – just add an egg! Add some microgreens or light salad for freshness and you are in for a satisfying treat.

This dish is so simple to make and surprisingly, one of my favorite ways to prepare salmon.
