Tuna Casserole with Zoup

Ingredients

2 Tbsp butter
1 yellow onion chopped
8 stalks celery chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
⅓ Cup flour
2 Cups Zoup! Good Really Good® Seafood Broth
1 Cup whole milk
8 oz pasta – Your Favorite!
2 Cups frozen peas
2 Cans Safe Catch Elite Tuna
12 oz shredded cheddar cheese
½ Cup panko breadcrumbs
2 Tbsp fried onions

Instructions

Begin this recipe by prepping all of your veggies, pre-heating your oven to 450 degrees and grease your 9×13 backing dish. Set that aside.
Next, melt butter in a large pan and sauté your onions, celery, garlic and salt and pepper for 5-8 minutes on medium to low heat or until translucent.
While your veggies are sautéing, bring your water to a boil. Once your water starts to boil, add in your pasta. Cook until al dente or according to the package.
Once your veggies are translucent, sprinkle the flour on top and cook for 1 minute. Add the Seafood Zoup Broth and milk, stir and bring to a simmer.
Add frozen peas to veggie mixture and let thicken.
Next, add your Safe Catch Elite Tuna – DO NOT DRAIN! Flake the tuna into your veggie mixture and add your noodles and 1 Cup cheddar cheese. Stir until combined.
Finally, add mixture to your greased casserole dish and top with remaining cheese, panko bread crumbs and fried onions.
Bake for 15 – 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
