Tuna Chili


  • 4 Cans (5.0 oz) Safe Catch Elite Wild Tuna
  • ½ Red, Orange, & Yellow Bell Peppers (Coarsely Chopped)
  • ½ Yellow Onion (Diced)
  • 2 Tbsp of Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 Cup Green Salsa
  • 4 Tbsp Sriracha (Or other favorite hot sauce)
  • 2 Cans (15.0 oz) of Three Bean Blend (Pinto, Black, Kidney)
  • 2 Cans (14.5 oz) Diced Fire Roasted Tomatoes
  • 1 Can (8.0 oz) Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil

Tools you'll need

  • Large Stock Pot
  • Cutting Board & Chef’s Knife
  • Measuring Spoons & Cups
  • Soup Spoon


  1. Place all dry spices into stock pot, over medium heat, cook spices until fragrant oils start to release
  2. Pour olive oil to the pot and immediately add yellow onion and bell peppers, stirring so that the spices mix with onions and peppers, cook until the edges of onions begin to soften (about 3-5 mins)
  3. Open each can of Safe Catch Elite Wild Tuna (do not drain), flake with a fork in can until all liquid is absorbed by tuna, then empty contents into stock pot
  4. Add canned beans, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce
  5. Add green salsa and sriracha (or other favorite hot sauce)
  6. Stir all ingredient in the stock pot until everything becomes incorporated
  7. Turn heat down to medium-low, cover pot, and simmer for a minimum of 10-15 minutes


Serve in a bowl and top with your favorite chili condiments: cilantro for a bright note or a scoop of guacamole, because it is just plain delicious.
